Ways to Help MnFIRE

Minnesota currently ranks 48th in the nation in per-capita fire service spending.

To make up for this disparity in funding for firefighter wellness, the Minnesota Professional Firefighters (MPFF), Minnesota State Fire Chiefs Association (MSFCA) and the Minnesota State Fire Department Association (MSFDA) together created MnFIRE to rally firefighters – and the people who support them – to gear up for their health.

Your action today will help fund programs and services for Minnesota firefighters and their families.

Other Ways to Help

In addition to a monetary donation, you can also help MnFIRE in the following ways:

Donate Your Time

We recognize the time and energy it takes to achieve our goal of stronger health within the fire service. To supplement our efforts, we need volunteers for upcoming events and promotional activities, and also to staff our 24-hour peer support line.

Provide In-Kind Support

MnFIRE welcomes donations of health and wellness products or services such as FitBits (or similar wellness tools), free or significantly reduced-fee counseling or group therapy sessions, nutritional meal planning services, and more.

Participate or Sponsor

Show your support by participating in or encouraging your business to sponsor our important fundraising events, like the annual MnFORE golf tournament, scheduled for May 24, 2021.
